General terms & conditions

These terms & conditions apply to rental of the Hideaway Herdla fjord suites. 

Rentals incl. payment and cleaning are managed by:

Hideaway Herdla and Dinbnb AS are not liable for any loss or damage suffered by guests as a result of failure to abide by our terms & conditions.

Bookings

The customer/at least one guest must be 18 or over.

The booking is binding as soon as it has been confirmed and payment made. Guests are responsible for ensuring that all information relating to the booking (incl. dates of arrival and departure) is correct.

Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of booking. Bookings and payments are made via the Guesty property management platform. The booking form transfers encrypted data to Guesty. No personal or contact information is stored on the website’s server or in a database.

Dinbnb AS and Guesty are responsible for credit card numbers and security codes being handled safely in accordance with the requirements set out in the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Cancellations must be made in writing by email to .

Refunds

  • In the event of cancellation 30 days or more before the date of arrival, 100% of the amount paid minus any transaction costs will be refunded.
  • In the event of cancellation between 29 and 10 days before the date of arrival, 25% of the amount paid minus any transaction costs will be refunded.
  • No refund is payable for cancellation less than 10 days before the date of arrival.

Changes to bookings

Any changes/requested changes to bookings must be made in writing by email to . Changes may entail an additional charge to reflect a change in availability or offer.

Arrival and check-in & check-out times

Once the booking is confirmed, relevant information is sent electronically to the email address the guest provided when booking.

  • Check-in: after 3 p.m. on the day of arrival
  • Check-out: by 11 a.m. on the day of departure

Complaints, faults & defects

In the event of complaints/problems, guests must contact Dinbnb as soon as possible to enable things to be put right. No compensation is payable for faults or defects reported by guests on departure or subsequently.

Your stay

  • The price includes electricity. Charging electric vehicles from the fjord suites’ power supply is not permitted.
  • Accommodation is provided on a self-catering basis. The price includes use of bedding and towels.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage not due to normal wear and tear. 
  • Max. number of guests per unit: 2
  • The fjord suites must be left tidy.
  • All forms of smoking inside the fjord suites are prohibited.
    Pets are not allowed for allergy reasons. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Please keep noise to a minimum between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
  • Guests who fail to abide by the house rules may be subject to a fee of minimum NOK 2,500 to cover extraordinary cleaning etc.

Force Majeure 

Hideaway Herdla and Dinbnb AS are not liable for circumstances resulting from bad weather, closed facilities and amenities, or other circumstances beyond the owner’s control. No liability is accepted for errors in the description of the accommodation offer or other information provided on the website or in the booking portal. Either party may withdraw from the agreement if the product/service that has been purchased cannot be used or provided because of acts of war, natural disasters, prolonged interruptions to water and power, or similar events that neither the owner nor the guest could foresee or influence.
